Ahmad EL Mokadem is a Principal Banker within the EBRD Energy EMEA team. Ahmad has significant experience in development finance, in addition to 6+ years of advisory and corporate finance experience. As part of the EBRD core banking business team, Ahmad is focused on extending finance to energy infrastructure projects in the Middle East, and Eastern Europe across the whole span of product spectrum from sovereign lending to state owned utilities to direct equity investments alongside leading infrastructure partners from the EBRD countries of operations. Ahmad has lead the financing of the first large utility scale financing of a solar pv project employing bi-facials panels in Egypt in 2018.
