Gavin has over twelve years’ experience advising clients in the renewable energy sector, including those involved with wind farm projects, solar PV projects and projects in the fields of bioenergy, hydro and CHP. He works with developers, funders and investors from preliminary site acquisition and consenting phase right through to project finance and construction. In addition, Gavin has acted in the purchase and sale of approximately 800MW of wind farms projects (both development stage and operational) and developments stage solar PV projects in ROI and has advised clients on a wide spectrum of energy related matters. Gavin recently acted in the sale of two development stage ground mount solar PV sites in Co. Meath to Energia and has acted / is acting for a number of solar developers in the securing of rights and consents for a pipeline of approximately 850MW of proposed ground mount solar PV projects.
